These are photos from today . I went to Thebes to have a look at the old river. It ranks as a 5 on the DDD scale (Destruction Demolition Derby) tried to trial a few meters and all was well but its not for the faint hearted. I also went looking for the natural gas pipe and did the first part of the trail that some cuckoos last year wanted to run.
So first lets look at some pics that describe the story better than words , i have to say that one of the hills was to much even for this cuckoo and had to leave it fro another day possibly when i am with tha company of a Unimog and a hydraulic winch .

thats the one i chickened out , prob a 50+ deggre slope maybe 60.
a very nice drybed that is the entrance to a part of the gaspipe.
thats a poser shot sorry , but you can see the angle , thats where the slope dissapears.
Anyway i managed to do the Thebes-Dervenoxoria part of the gaspipe , some of the slopes were trikcy to say the least . So this is going to be the trail for some other ride , not this one .
Tommorow we will go instead to Penteli , its an easier trail , not that easy actually but the stock cars will do just fine with no body damage.
The rendezvous is for 9 47 pm and we will go for souvlaki after we are done , the lads that i was trailling with last summer will remember the cornershop at the Penteli square.
